For some people, BBQ cooking is an art, for others it is just a fun way to cook. One thing is sure though, failing to choose the proper area to cook with your BBQ will affect not only your cooking but can be dangerous.

Next time you set-up your BBQ, try to choose an area where the wind is to a minimum. Having some wind is good for cooking, it helps nourishing the flames but too much can be very dangerous. Do not install your BBQ directly on the lawn or near bushes it could be disastrous. Finally, choose an area where your neighbor will not be affected by the smoke and odors.

Happy BBQing!

I looked online but can’t find one like the one I had last week. We went on vacation and I had the best BBQ at a Dixie’s just outside of Nags Head. I gotta have that recipe! Can anyone share? Thanks!

I bought some pre-seasoned chicken leg quarters the other day and have them thawed in the fridge. I would really like to bake them in some kind of honey bbq sauce. Does anyone have a recipe they have actually tried?

Thanks

Justine

I have sold this recipe at farmers markets and fairs, celebations and such. It is well accepted everywhere, we also have a food booth that sells a bbq wrap with our bbq sauce and our salsa with fresh made chips
